Judge is a special title with privileges given only to those who have participated and shown excellence in their RPG performance skills in the battle arena. You cannot just ask to become a judge and expect to be given the title.
A judge must show a supreme command of the rules and regulations of the arena. He/she must be skilled in reading, writing, analyzing, editing, html, leadership, etc. I prefer to elect those who have successfully played DM to a thread on more than one occasion and are prepared to handle issues such as disagreements that might lead to flaming and/or general disruption.
Those who are not immediately eligible to become a judge may choose to sign up for training sessions from any of the existing judges, as time permits for the judge. Note: signing up for lessons does not mean you will get them. You also must plan on participating in one or more reviewed battles in the Arena with non-judges. This allows me to get to know your writing style. Those who work their way up the Battle Arena “hierarchy†are considered more qualified.
And remember: “Someone who can't follow simple instructions aren't likely to do the job right.â€

Okay, give me some time and I will come up with your regulations and have you approved.

But do you know anybody I can take lessons from, Serenity?

Ah, the wonderful air of dissention...
Well, Aspaheir, looks like you've found yourself a trainer. Not necessarily the method for finding one that I would advise, but there you go.
I suppose it's up to you whether you want to put in the blood and effort now in order to save your grace in the Arena. You might find that with Christian here, however, it's more of the former than the latter.

Replying to Tourniquet's confirmation,
I confirm your confirmation. And it is a training match, I am okay with that.

Alright, I'm going to put you guys in the back of the Arena where you can't do too much damage among the rubble...
This Battle Ring has smaller rubble strewn across it and sandy floors rather than dirt or stone. It's close to the stands so be careful not to hurt anyone! And you are practicing with Dragon vs. Elf, correct?

Christian and Aspaheir

Christian, if you could set the type of Battle Ring you want to train in, (sand floors might be better for training) you can start any time you would like. There are 3 open rings, 2 with dirt and 1 more with sand. Elise and I are using the larger stone floored arena. You can move the rubble and obstacles about as suits you. Just make sure you give your trainee the heads up!
And Aspahier, if you could shrink your avatar down to 90x90 pixels, that would be great. Thanks!

hey, just a heads up
Hey, Just so you guys know, even though I'm sure it doesn't matter that much, that after I get done remaking Zoan, I'm gonna be putting him into this, and I'm pretty sure me and Pandora are gonna have a rematch, now that I have steady internet access.
As the blade cuts deeper, the blood pours more, will this finally bring me happiness, or shall it be just another failed attempt?

don't worry about it
Yeah it is, but I don't know...I'm getting there, and I'm keeping them at where they were before I lost that data, besides, doing this is helping me come up with new and better strategies at fighting, b/c I know that my writing skills aren't all that great, but they used to be really good, I don't know. I'll have it done today or tomorrow.

Just give me the heads up when you are finished planning guys! And Pandora, I'm sorry you have had to wait so long for ours... It's been terribly busy and hard for me to catch up around here most days...

Christian and Dream Lord

I'll have your match put up on the announcements ASAP.

TUTTI:

There are now 3 rings still open: 2 Sand, 1 Dirt.
