Just a welcome
I, too, am new. I can't find words to say right now, very typical of me, but I warn thee, don't break my mind or heart. Otherwise, hi, and this is a random topic.

Hello, bonjour, and jambo! Welcome to the board!
Cool name, by the way.
You don't know what to say? Well, let's see. . .
Where are you from?
What are your interests?
What is your species? (dragon, human, griffon, high flying Chinese monkey-panda, etc.)
Have you been on a board like this before?
What's your favorite color?
What's your favorite food?
What's your birthday, phone number, address, and social security number? (and we'll need to know credit card numbers if available)
Do you have any criminal background?
And lastly, do these pants make my ears look big?
Just kidding. . .Except for that last one. Seriously, do they?
Cool name, by the way.

As a matter of fact, yes.
So, your name means death. Are you like the Grim Reaper or something? Or did your parents just not like you?
Where is Ventura?
What the heck is a serapai?
I like black, too. But I prefer green. (it matches me)
You can trust me with your info. *grins evily*
And why am I the only one that has welcomed you?
Give me a little while and I'm sure I could think of some more.
Oh yeh! Do you have any quesions?

My name doesn't actually mean death. Korethi means death. That isn't my name, although I wish it so. I hate my mom, dislike the rest of my family.Ersska wrote:As a matter of fact, yes.

Ventura is in California.
My own race of demon.
Black matches my personality. I'm not goth.
Maybe. I'll see.
Dunno. It doesn't bother me. Give 'em time.
I'll think of questions for you.

Hello. I'm Korethi the half-serapai. I have no idea who Chalgrishes is and I have no intention of wronging anyone. I don't want to ever again. But, I fear no person, not even him/her. Yet who's to say that death is what I am waiting for?Jishdefish wrote:Hello welcome to the boards. I am Jishdefish, a dragonfish!! Don't you just hate it when people think you're goth just because you where black? I painted my fingernails black one time, and people at school were asking me if I was a devil worshiper. They'd say, "Your nails are scaring me!" Wimps.
How do you pronounce serapai? Is it like sarah-pie?

Lol. My mom thought I was trying to be goth when I wore dark purple nailpolish with a dark blue dress.Ersska wrote:Don't you just hate it when people think you're goth just because you where black? Rarely anyone worships the devil these days.

Yep. It's annoying, at times. But, you get used to it. And serapai is pronounced how you think.Ersska wrote:Don't you just hate it when people think you're goth just because you where black? I highly doubt they're serious about it. Most teens just say they do and wear funky makeup just to be rebellous(sp?).John wrote:says u! I know there are plenty of Satanists, but that's not the same thing.

Simply mentioning the word "Satanists" does not instantly change the topic to religion. If we went in depth with it or talked about our own personal religious beliefs, then, yes, that would be a change to a religious topic.
However, we are a little off topic and need to get back on track. So. . .
Hello, Korethi. You still haven't answered my questions. (you're probably getting very tired of me by now)

It's pronounced Co-reth-ee. Close enough, though. I'm no 'dude'. And no I'm not tired of you. For a bit now, I've been doing serious thinking.Ersska wrote:Yay! I'm so smart! I figured out the weird word!
Oh, and Korethi, just for clarification, you are a dude, right?
And how is your name pronounce? I'm pretty sure the way I'm pronouncing it is wrong. I say core-ree-the. Doubt that's right.

I'm going through a rough time with my lover, person I love, etc. It's my fault that it's going this way, not their fault. All of my woes are for me to blame, I'm at fault. I might provide insight later, though. I'm also thinking about my book that I'm writing, which is four years overdue. Some other stuff, irrelevent to you right now.Ersska wrote:Serious thinking, eh? May I ask about what? (i'm not trying to be nosy. just carrying on a conversation. feel free to tell me to shut-up at any given moment.)

Thank you, Aiolos. I have my own way of speaking as well. If ever in a conversation, I say summat, I mean somewhat or something. Just so you know. I have a bunch of other words, but we might come across those later. And if Eragon comes out on December 15, I can watch it as a birthday present.Aiolos wrote:Hallo, Korethi!
