PLEASE READ! IMPORTANT!
This is not a joke!
Please Be Extremely Careful especially if using internet mail such as Yahoo, Hotmail, AOL and so on. This information arrived this morning direct from both Microsoft and Norton.
Please send it to everybody you know who has access to the Internet.
You may receive an apparently harmless email with a Power Point presentation "Life is beautiful."
If you receive it DO NOT OPEN THE FILE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, and delete it immediately. If you open this file, a message will appear on your screen saying: "It is too late now, your life is no longer beautiful."
Subsequently you will LOSE EVERYTHING IN YOUR PC and the person who sent it to you will gain access to your name, e-mail and password.
This is a new virus which started to circulate on Saturday afternoon. AOL has already confirmed the severity, and the antivirus software's are not capable of destroying it.
The virus has been created by a hacker who calls himself "life owner"
Believe me when i say that this is a really dangerous email and im stressing this! watch out hes gotton people around me and he almost got me i ran my powerdown to stop it then traced it back to the source which seriously screwed my computer up even more! I dont want any more of my friends to be screwed over by this sic demented person!

quote="Gary"]This warning about a Microsoft PowerPoint file named "Life is Beautiful" carrying a a computer-destroying virus is a hoax, one that has been with us since at least January 2002. It originally circulated in Portuguese but was later translated into English and a host of other languages.
Although this particular example is a hoax, PowerPoint presentations can contain viruses, so prudent computer users should always check downloaded or e-mailed PowerPoint presentations (and all other non-text attachments) before opening them.
In September 2002 this hoax was circulated anew as "Everything is Beautiful," and it popped up again in 2003 re-titled as "Life is Wonderful."

Viruses can only be executable. If you open the e-mail, it's ok, just don't execute it.

Not to be snotty, but it's really not against the law. Not to mention you're being very rude, which isn't right of someone who 'moderates'.Chalgrish wrote:You're insulting atheists and agnostic, and noone cares about your religious issues, not to mention it's a against the rules.....or the law.
Have your opinions, but try to be civilized about it.

If you were to juggle a lion, and a house cat, the end result would look something like a tattered chunk of red fabric. The cat would scratch anything within reach, and the lion would just eat you. The lesson to learn? Make sure you eat your spinach.

Pastafarian (Or worship of The Giant Flying Spagetti Monster) Is a mock religion started by an angry teacher (or something like that) in Kansas. It was ruled Constitutional to teach evolution, as long as with Intelligent design was taught as well...
So this Teacher (Let's call him Citizen A), thinks "Hey, what the crap?", and so brings it in front of the state educational board that if these two are allowd to be taught, they should then teach his ideas, or, Pastafarianism...
This has since spread as a cultural icon, which, as much as I hate to admit, makes about as much sense as most religions...
If you want more info, google it...

This one's actually serious...If you use wikipedia, you'll come up with a picture of of Adam reaching out to touch The Giant Flying Spagetti Monster, like in The Creation of Adam...
