What do you feel is your spirit guide.
Every one has one even if they are not aware of it. If you have ever gone to bed mad then woke up knowing you had a dream, but not remembering what it was, but feeling calmer and willing to give who ever or what ever got you mad another chance you have had a visit by your spirit guide. The normally visit us in our sleep as its easier to speak with our subconcious when we sleep. Your spirit guide will be something that you probably dont know why but find calming and reasuring to be around, and you probably will have or want to collect as many pictures of it as possible to spread out around your house. I know that my spirit guide is a dragon. I have met people who have guides that where anything from griphons to wolves.

A spirit guide doesn't just appear during dreams. Meditation, astral travel or even simple daydreams - spirit isn't just connected with sleeping. Our spirit is active 24/7 and so are our guides..they just don't appear or reveal themselves to us.
Am I presuming you're basing your meaning of 'spirit guides' on the Native Indian totem animals? In that case
My permanent guide is a Wolf. That, plus that's the form I also take during astral travel / meditation. Plus my room is littered with so many wolf and canine related items it almost isn't a joke.
My travelling guide is a Golden Eagle
My 'hidden' guide is either a Black Bear or a Spider

I think you misunderstood me your guide is always with you its just that when you wake from dream like that and dont remember dream and are calmer it really wasnt dream its your guide talking to you. usually when you are either being irrational and doing something irrational trying to get you to see or do right.+ Silver - Orbs + wrote:A spirit guide doesn't just appear during dreams. i always think that my spiritual guide is a miniature dragon. that may be why i always want my rp characters to have a little dragon familiar
If you were to juggle a lion, and a house cat, the end result would look something like a tattered chunk of red fabric. The cat would scratch anything within reach, and the lion would just eat you. The lesson to learn? Make sure you eat your spinach.

I think my spirit guide might be a sea-horse (not to be confused with a seahorse) but it also could be a peregrine falcon or gyrfalcon
Now and then I announce "I know you're listening" to empty rooms. If I'm wrong, no one knows. And if I'm right, maybe i just freaked the hell out of some secret organization. It's basically Paschal's wager for the paranoid prankster.

Yeah I don't know exactly what mine is either. Though, I do have a strong attraction to bears and wolves but i dunno if that means anything.

is there an creature that when ever you see a picture of, or even just think of makes you feel better when ever you feeling bad or calmer if your upset? If so thats likely your spirit guide. I cant remember specifically which autobiography i read recently of person with similar beliefs as my own they where much better at explaining how you could figure out what your spirit guide is.

just because you are obsessed with an animal doesnt mean that it is your spiritual guide, it is just sometimes your link. you dont have to believe dragonrider, but it would be nice if you could either give concrete reasons why you dont believe instead of just saying that it is rubbish.

Just like wut2say said just because you are obsessed with an animal that doesnt make it your spirit guide. I know my what my spirit guide is its a dragon. How ever I am obsesed with tigers eagles and wolves they nothing really special too me i just think they are cool. Dragons on the other hand if I am upset and look at a sculture or picture of a dragon I have around my house I become calmer, and even a time or two when I didnt have alot of unnessesary noise going on I felt I could almost audibly hear it speaking to me as well as just calming me. I dont get this feeling when I look at pictures of other animals. Also just because you dont believe in it doesnt mean you dont have one. Just because you dont agree with a certain view, belief, or opionion doesnt make it trash some one could make a post about cristianity, and while I personally think its a bunch of bs I wouldnt start calling it trash and the like to them. I feel everyone is entitled to thier own beliefs... hell my whole family is christian except for me I dont try and change them and respect thier belief and they dont try to get me to convert from being pagan.

Is it possible for a non animalto be your spirit guide? I was really angry at my mom and my brothers a while ago and i went outside and as soon as I see the trees and the grass and the natural world I was happy.

there are such things as dryads and nyads that live inthe trees and the water, it could be that one of them is you spirit guide.

dryads live in the trees and the nyads live in the water. most of the time nyads are in ponds and little streams.

So you think that your lost pet is your spirit guide? that's really cool, you were really close to your spirit guide for a while then. nice.
my element of the mind is the void. and as far as i know silv ther is no guide for that element. so i guess i've been on my own in that department for quite a while.
*sniff*
poor me. oh well.
