photoshop help please

i am a very green artist and am wanted to take my art up to the next level. i have checked out the adobe photoshop where you can scan them and turn them into the professional looking pics. but that program is expensive like 600 dollars or something. so does anyone know if there is any other way to do the same thing but with another program. like i said i am green and am not wanting to spend that much yet but i dont want to wait

Try GIMP or a free trial of Open Canvas.

I'd recommend doing trials, then perhaps asking for the full version for Christmas or something. I got my Photoshop off a friend <.<;

photoshop is very expensive, luckily i could borrow a copy. its incredibly hard to get used to, and i too would reccomend a trial before you buy it, you dont want to waste all that money...
