It is a good film, I have it on tape somewhere. Have you ever seen the "second" one. I think it was a made for TV movie, and it shows it. It is ok but not as good as the first.
But it has that "Baron Munchausen" feel of the end of the fantastic and start of reason.

The victories from those skilled in warfare are not considered of great wisdom or courage, because their victories have no miscalculations

Well you can expect the dragons to be angry. Wouldn't you if you'd just woke up and someone tried to kill you? The humans brought it on themselves. That boy shouldn't haver invaded the dragons lair. It was a property violation.
Formerly DragonRider. Almost teenage me could have been more imaginative with names.

ooh
i LOVE dragonheart, i cried so much when Draco died, and he was the best dragon ever to be shown on a screen! he was nothing short of perfect! reign of fire... hmmm... WAYY too many humans, and they portrayed dragons as dumb brutes really, like vermin. That and its not really possible for a dragon, especially a wyvern like the big male at the end, to fly with so many holes in his wings. I liked the danger element of the movie, dont get me wrong it was fairly good, but to be honest i dislike films that portray dragons as evil because theyre not, in my view.
