It depends who you talk to. Some, like myself, take a realistic view that dragons are merely a living species, possibly intelligent. Others think that dragons have mystical powers which cover varying scopes of magic.

Dragons as a real species have long lifespans, low reproductive rates, high survival rates of young, high intelligence, and some can fly, breathe fire, or breathe poisonous breath.

I like to think all sorts of things about fantasy dragons, but for real ones I'm fairly certain they're not doing anything past 'fire breath'.

Anything physically capable with abilities that have been scientifically proven.
Ie, using tools (ravens), basic speech if taught (parrots)

I have to agree with that. A large number of animals show the "smarts" to use items and even modify them for better use. And most understand languages and some of those can use them correctly. (Owning a number of parrots, they really know how and when to use words. It is not just repeating.)

I think that if dragons were real creatures they would
a) be very large, would have scales, and claws, and possible a weponed tail
b) would be able to fly, with hollow bones, strong cest muscles, and huge wings
c) Could breathe fire, or have a highly poisoned bite, one or the other
d) Would be very intellegent, possibly be able to create their own language.

Btw, how do I change the pic under my name?? (totally random...)
There is something called the flying pig that never seems to get around. When the flying pig does arrive, I'll have a jet pack and a mansion with a swimming pool. PLEASE COME OH FLYING PIG!

I think for flight, it might make more sense that drgons were much less bulky, and most of their skeletons was made of cartilage.

As for the custom user title, there should be a thread in the admin forum to ask Tempest, and he should get to it eventually.
