Dragon Lungs
Dragon lungs would have to be big, as this would increase the amount of Oxygen getting to their wing muscles, allowing them to work harder.

Either way, I will agree. They would need to be like a bird's lungs.
Avian lungs do not have alveoli, as mammalian lungs do, but instead contain millions of tiny passages known as para-bronchi, connected at both ends by the dorsobronchi and that the airflow through the avian lung always travels in the same direction - posterior to anterior. This is in contrast to the mammalian system, in which the direction of airflow in the lung is tidal, reversing between inhalation and exhalation. By utilizing a unidirectional flow of air, avian lungs are able to extract a greater concentration of oxygen from inhaled air. Birds are thus equipped to fly at altitudes at which mammals would succumb to hypoxia, and this also allows them to sustain a higher metabolic rate than an equivalent weight mammal. Because of the complexity of the system, misunderstanding is common and it is incorrectly believed that that it takes two breathing cycles for air to pass entirely through a bird's respiratory system. A bird's lungs do not store air in either of the sacs between respiration cycles, air moves continuously from the posterior to anterior air sacs throughout respiration. This type of lung construction is called circulatory lungs as distinct from the bellows lung possessed by most other animals

They did some studies with Dolphins apparantly, and found that the more Oxygen they gave them the harder their muscles could work. So if that Dragon wants to fly, they better be getting in lots of air.
Increased amounts of Haemoglobin would help, as well.

Yes they would have to have big lungs, I read somewhere that T-rexs had extra lungs or air sacs, they breathed in once and filled one set of lungs and breathed agin to fill a second set... something like that. Cus of their huge size and muscles they needed as much oxgen as possible, and it probably made them lighter too.... Ill find that book where I read that from...

No, Dragons would not need to absorb a flammable gas into there bloodstream.
For Dragons to breathe fire, the simplest way would be to secrete two chemicals (or just one, such as Hydrogen Peroxide), and react them together to produce a flame.
If they used Hydrogen Peroxide, they would need
a) Something that could store it
and
b) something like Silver to act as a catalyst to decompose it into Water and Oxygen.

Pterosaurs aren't dinosaurs. Common misconception.

they could have had to pairs of lungs or maybe a different respiration system in there bodies

Re: Dragon Lungs
I like your idea but I also think that dragons have 2 sets of lungs. set1 (inhail/ exhail) for oxegen and yes it helps the wings for more power. and the 2nd set some how turns the oxogen into a flamible gas and hold it(HP), So when it exhail it could breath fire (only Defencive purpuses.douse not exhail the gass all the time). all the gass needs is a spark. I will agree with E. Drake about the spark patch to make the flame.
(the 1st pair of lungs should be 2x bigger than the 2nd pair)
wait! O_O did I just say i agree with E. Drake about something. lol never thout it was possible.
the only thing I would ask is what do you guys is if the gas would be unlimented or limited?

Limited. The idea of unlimited gas demands explanation of a source. Oxygen in and of itself isn't flammable, though. A second gas is needed, the most likely candidate being hydrogen or methane.
I do like the idea of two sets of lungs, though.
