Where is everyone?
I have just caught up with old internet friends on other sites and that reminded me of the great days of Dragnix back in the day (2005-learly 2007), where is everyone ? I remember this forum as a healthy thriving forum where many posters would come and post good, decent threads where everyone would debate and have a laugh. What happened to users like Silverorbs, Chalgrish, Tempest, wut2say,Dragonobsesie,Kojack, Mia,Serenity, vampirehunter42 etc.
I know exactly what everyone is going to say here: "They have a life" "They have jobs", so what? I remember the days when people would come on here during work hours and chat away with fellow Dragnix.net users.
What has happened here?

Google Dragnix Forums, that works. The first choice will bring you right to the forumsJohn wrote:*grunt*
Ok, most of those people have probably graduated from high-school/college, so it's possible they're still sorting their lives. Plus, this isnt the easiest site to find.
Try Googling 'Dragnix.net' sometime.
That's how I originally found out about DragnixBlue Tiger wrote:I remember by typing in www.colba.net/~tempest/ (I remember that off by heart) then I just click on message board!
Let us bring a new Golden Age to Dragnix.

The air ripple and Tempest warps into existence.
I'm around, it just that there is some sort of asymmetrical activity on the site (and an equally asymmetrical attention on my part). For example, the gallery received 160,000 comments over 3 years, while the board got 28,000 over the same period of time. I can't really explain it, but it's a bit of an administrative problem as it's almost like having two message boards running in parallel.
Also, typing "dragnix" or "dragons" on Google and you will end up on this site. But I'm working to make the main page of Dragnix.net into something more useful than "we are making modifications to our website". There is a little logo/design competition going on in the Artistic Section to solve this little problem and if all goes well, I will be able to put some order around to make the site better structured.

Tempest, I've been to the gallery and I know your plight. As you may know, I am one of four admins on a forum of my creation, and I fully understand how dificult your job is (I'm having a hard time, and the work load is distributed amongst 4 people! I can only imagine what it's like to be a lone admin working a forum like this.)
Let us bring a new Golden Age to Dragnix.

We should try to have some sort of "Dragnix Family Reunion" Get all the oldest members on, (If we can find them). Also, Pandora, was it you who got married to another Dragnix member? If so, could you remind me which one, and try to get them back on here?
I remember when I first stumbled on this sight back in... *Checks own info* March of 2006. I enjoyed hopping on to the forums during class and just spending time with my friends. Now, most of my friends that were here are gone (I have made more, but they leave after a while as well). In my intro thread, Chalgrish posted the most odd thing I have ever seen, HE DIDN'T USE ANY SPACES, And I can't believe that it is already on the 4th page of the introductions!
But anyway.... We've all grown since we met, and most of my original friends are in college, or are nearly there (such as me).

Pandora
yes, it was my husband and I, Maryin. Although Maryin only rped because I beged him to, I doubt I'll be able to get him back on now. I'll try though. I agree we really need to wake this place back up before it fads away.
Our character we long married before us though!

Strange there is anyone left who'd remember much older members at all and that I'd stumble across this thread. (O_o) We still keep in contact with each other. Sometimes we play on another forum, we just moved somewhere less busy is all. =)
I have lived here before the days of ice,
And of course this is why I am so concerned,
And I come back to find the stars misplaced,
And the smell of a world that has been burned...
