Merry Christmas!

Post by Pandora »

Merry Christmas everyone, and happy newyears if I'm not able to get on then.

here's a little christmas joke to get you though the holidays. Maybe you've already heard it but I thought it was kinda cute.

one there was a man who wanted to get his wife a very special gifte for christmas that year. So he went to a pet shop and asked the owner what he should do.
the owner sugester a bird named chester to the man. He then asked what does chester do?
The owner replied " well, sir, he sings christmas carols."
"the man asked "how so?"
in turn the shop owner replied " well, I'll show you"
so the shop owner took the bird and set him on a stand beside him. THen he took a lighter out of his pocket and waved it under his left foot which made the bird sing jingle bells. Then he did the same with the right foot and the bird sang scilent night. Well, this got the man thinking, and he asked " what does chester sing when you wave the flame between his legs?'
The shop owner shugged and told him he'd give it a go just to see, and as he did with out skipping a beat the bird sang
" chest nuts roasting on an open fire!"

hee hee well it made me laugh ther first time I heard it! Have fun you guys I'm rooting for you as always.

But Life Day is a Wookiee Yule Feast of a sorts.

Ok to answer the next question.

Well I know most (if not all) of you are to young for that. In 1978, seeing the love of Star Wars, they put together 'The Star Wars Holiday Special'. It is by far one of the worst things ever to bare the Star Wars name. But it has hit an almost cult status. Even Lucas (who had very little to do with it) hates it. But it is worth a watch. With most if it is showing Chewbacca's family all speaking Shyriiwook (the Wookiee language), with the odd variety-show like things. And a cartoon. The link is to a online copy of it. (about 2 hours)

It's mentioned on the video for 'White & Nerdy' by Weird Al. There's a picture of him getting a copy of it from some rough gang member in exchange for money 8)

I'd like to see it.

Oh my, it's bad...

Even the ads are awful:
"Tobor is Robot spelled backward", the wisdom of the past is simply overwhelming.
