A puppet that might be of a dragon lover's fancy...

Post by Crystal »

I would like to start by saying that, if I am doing something wrong by posting a link to an outside source such as eBay or by, in a way, "advertising" something I am trying to sell, I mean no offense to any rule that I did not come across and I sincerely apologize.

With that being said, I am in need of money asap. The economy is treating a new college freshman BADLY. I brought this amazing dragon puppet a year back at the Texas Renaissance Festival. At the time, it was a great purchase and I will say he is worth the price at $250.

But as times go on and the need for money surfaces, I think it's time to sell this awesome guy. Someone can put him to better use than I can.

He is beautifully hand crafted and has a complementary mixture of different furs of different colors. Fur on a dragon? Well, he's a mammalian like dragon or as the creators at Imaginarium Galleries like to call his kind- drabbits- a type of dragon-rabbit cross.

He sits on one's shoulder and adds so much to a costume. With a hidden cord that is cleverly slipped through ones clothing and sleeve, you can control his head. Turning he knob turns his head in either direction. Pushing the knob in makes him lift his head.

I guess I should show you this guy!

I'm trying for $250 over at eBay (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... :MESELX:IT)

If someone is magically interested and no bids have been made on eBay, contact me at baabaaram@yahoo.com and we can talk about a quick purchase and delivery.

You may also contact me if you have any questions, comments, or concerns.

Sorry, don't have the cash. Unless the economy over there has tanked more than here, and exchange rates are $25 to £1?

I don't know the economic statuse of the other guys o this board, but...

Big no-no. Advertising anything here, wares or website, is not good. Especially if its your own stuff.

Advertising dragon-related merchandise is allowed* around here because this is the kind of thing that could interest some users. That doesn't means that the board is a free for all but if done in moderation and in an appropriate manner (like above), I don't really see any harm (compared to spam bots that want to enlarge body parts that are fine the way they are, advertise direct deposit of entire bank account into casino bank account and claim that you can earn money through hypnosis).

Though, it would have been better to use thumbnails for those who still own 4:3 monitor (thread stretching). Otherwise this thread is legitimate in my eyes.

And that dragon looks like the kind of thing Jim Henson would do.

Tempest, I was just going to say that it looks like Jim Hensons stuff!! Looks like something off The Dark Crystal, or Labrynth, lol.
I would love to buy it, but right now, ive not got that much money, so I cant, which is a shame because he looks so cute and he needs a home, but, Im sure someone will take it off your hands.
