kings (and queens) of the planet

Before humans came along, were dragons the domain speices? how long were they in charge before humans came along?

when ever humans first made the scene (possably a few years befort humanity)

What? I just hope I am missreading this. But dinosaurs were long dead before even the earliest humanoid were around.
