It's not really a fresh news but it has come to my attention that Warner Bros has released The Flight of Dragons on DVD a few months ago. Unfortunately, they only ship to the U.S. at this moment and it's not a remastered/restored version (and the movie is sold on DVD-R on top of that), but the quality is much better than any old VHS tape.
The Flight of Dragons was made in 1982 so being 28 years old, that movie can't be compared with recent animations in term of "wow factor", but back then they had to compensate by other means such as putting more effort on the story.
Well worth watching, if you can get your hands on it.
