I have yet to watch it, but I know of it. It sounds like another one of the "this may be out there..... or is it?" shows. So it has some value for the true believers and the middle of the road people. I would like to watch an episode or two just to see if it has any camp value to it. Sometimes the bad science and fuzzy pictures give a good chuckle. Like with the Ghost Hunters and the like.

I've seen it a few times. I find it entertaining, but I'm slightly disappointed in the lack of actual captures of what they're looking for. The chupacabra episode is my favorite though. I have somehow managed to see it about three or four times now, and I always find myself hoping they'll catch something. Those creatures have always fascinated me.

Seen it once, fell asleep on the first time a watched it only because it wasn't entertaining nor was it even worth my time. The fake graphics they use sucked sooo.... I fell asleep and seeing that it bored me to sleep I never watched it again. -_- I don’t get bored easy. (Lochness monster )

I guess the American loch ness is talking about Champ. And yea the really take Champ seriously. I think they set up a law where it is illegal to hunt (as in trying to kill) Champ. I do love one of the main pictures of it. Almost as odd looking as the surgeon’s photo.

Yes, as a matter of fact they did. :D Expect the picture of him(or it) has been proven not to be a hoax. I'm not saying that's it not a case of mistaken idenity, but it's really makes you think doesn't it? I like the espisode of the real loch ness monster, too. However, it seems alittle depressing. :(

Proven not to be a hoax and being real are two different things. The picture I am thinking of is fuzzy enough to be anything. But it keeps the legend alive and the tourist money coming in.

And remember these photos:

Were thought to be real until the girls there admitted to faking them on their deathbed. All but the top one that is, they didn’t say they faked that one. Maybe again to keep the mystery alive. Even Sir Arthur Conan Doyle thought they were real, that always gets me when Holmes would not have seen them as real.

Nope, cardboard cutouts you need to learn to catch your fakes better. But at the time, 1917, most people just didn't think girls of 10 and 16 were able to make a photo like this. And anyway, I did say they were fake, didn't I?

Yeah, but the fairies in the top one look like they are see through. O.o So, was this done on a long-exposure camera, and they put/took the fairies away halfway through?

Never saw that show but then again, I don't have cable TV so it's not very surprising... I will download a episode and post my thoughts about it but I don't think I will see hard science.

Well you can check out a couple of episodes at the main site.
http://www.history.com/shows/monsterquest

EDIT:

Wow, it has a number of full episodes.

EDIT2:

Looks like it has a case of ADD. ;) Yea, more or less the same as everyother show like this. They show as many thinks that can not be answered as the ones that can be. It is a good watch.

I saw a few episodes on youtube and I must say that while they leave the door wide open in a "despite everything, something may still be lurking out there", they are honest and concluded for example, that there was no credible evidences for the existence of the Wisconsin werewolves or those interdimensional flying rods (aka moths ).

It was nevertheless entertaining.

Every time a new episode comes on, you know they haven't found anything by definition, 'cause if they really had something, it wouldn't be on a TV show, it'd be in National Geographic.

Sup falconer, long time no see.

*looks at empty hand* where's my cookie??? :(

I agree with you about the show not really proving anything and when they do it's not enough.

Hey Rider, Ire, Drakel, sup? Just dropping in to make sure y'all are behaving yourselves.

I notice that they always have to disprove it... it's rarely an unbiased examination.
