:( they lay eggs to further the existence of their race....only some dragons inhabit the bodies of others not all....they don't give birth because they're not made to do so....i.e. they are at least somewhat reptillian thus eggs.

If you were to juggle a lion, and a house cat, the end result would look something like a tattered chunk of red fabric. The cat would scratch anything within reach, and the lion would just eat you. The lesson to learn? Make sure you eat your spinach.

Asking why a dragon lays eggs is like asking why a human gives birth. Completely useless. The only answer to that question is "Because they do".
The below statement is true.
The above statement is false.

its probably because they r more closely related to reptiles (scientifically) and reptiles lay eggs

and if u think about it they could also be related to birds(scientifically) cause they can fly and birds lay eggs too

Well if a dragon is in the form of a human than they usually have live birth. And a dragon cannot transform if she is pregnant. Wait a minute if two dragons were in human form and (birds and bees...) Would it be a live birth??
