Understandable, probably shouldn't do it again though, lol.

Anywho. If you want to find info, you could try Googling "video game violence", and/or Child psychology. However, I should stress that finding info that supports your theme is going to be difficult, as mot groups, etc. are against video game violence and think that it does cause aggressive behavior.

I remember when I stopped playing video games for just one month, I started acting MORE violent...

Rather than acting like my docile self, in one months time, I beat the s*** outta my sister, and punched a large hole in the wall...

I'm NEVER getting off video games again...

My god how fortunate for you I did a report on this myself a year or so ago. Howewver most if not all my sources were lost, the only one I remember was research done by a magazine known as PSM: 100% Independent Playstation Magazine, where they randomly picked 20 kids and gave half games like tetris, and basically non-violent games, ans the other half games like Resident Evil, basically violent as hell games. THe group with the non violent games got steadily more aggresive as the violence in games acted as a stress releiver, while the group playing violent games became more docile, and laid back. Short and sweet video games are Stress releif. I wish I could remember teh specifics for you, but that was 3 years ago I did this report so I cant....I suggest looking on google under searches like "Video Game Violence" or something about them causing violence. Thats how I found my stuff. I wish you the best of luck, it took me forever and a day ot find my 5-10 sources but I did it and got a high B to an A so it IS do able.

If your report set up is the same as mine was then you can use a quote from a specific person or page...so I'll give you one in PM. I'll even give you my name and ect so you can quote in exactness...if that will help you with your point and you want me to of course. So Would you like me to do that?

However, if the same games were given to a person anywhere from 14-20, then the increase of aggressiveness is prominent, not the docility. This would be because the hippocampus*, at the center of the brain and the center of common sense, actually SHRINKS during this time.

* a hippocampus is also like a sea-horse.

When I said kids I didnt mean 8 year olds. I consider anyone under 18 (sometimes 21...just work with me on that) to be a kid, myself included, because by law they are just that. They took teens...perhaps I should have been more specific....and that was the pattern.

I remember watching the G4 "Violence in Video Games" special, and they actually said that since violent video games have been created, violence in children has gone down by leaps and bounds...

If you were to juggle a lion, and a house cat, the end result would look something like a tattered chunk of red fabric. The cat would scratch anything within reach, and the lion would just eat you. The lesson to learn? Make sure you eat your spinach.

If you think about it, games like Tetris will get kids frustrated and make them want to beat the s*** out of each other. But in games like Resident Evil, you feel good that you have killed things...

Xplay gave that game a 2 out of 5...

They aren't always entirely accurate with games because they favor first person shooters over RPG's, but I don't ever buy games they give less than 3...

Well, believe it or not, I act kind'a weird...

Anyway, I just answered her questions with dumb answers. Like one time, she put in a tape with ballerinas dancing on it, and asked us what was on the tape (I think she meant what dance were they doing), I blurted out "people"...

I made it my personal goal to do something dumb in her class everyday...
