Has anyone heard of the show Firefly?

It was a great show that was on fox for a while... before it was canceled... Firefly was kinda a mixture of a western and scifi!! Very unique! Anyways it is currently showing on SciFi on fridays!! yea

I saw the trailer for the movie. haven't watched the series but hear good things about it!

I also noticed that alot of cast members from Buffy and Angel are in it.

In my opinion Firefly was the best... I mean if someone would have seen it from the beggining they would really be addicted, But no FOX wanted action and to jump into the middle of the storyline, ultimitly it was that and the fact that FOX skipped around so much, constantly changing the time that got it canceled!!

For you whom have never heard of it before Firefly is about a renagade crew who go from planet to planet searching for a job to stay in the air and keep food on the table. The crew consists of Malcom Renalds(Mal)Who was an independint in the War, and is forever against the Alliance who won the war and swept all the planets under their rule.

I am back.... and no, Firuweata

Zoe, the second member of the crew was with Mal in the war, and usually treats him as the commander. Oh yeah and she is married to the pilot; who is a laid back hippie type of guy named Wash. Then Jayne is the mercinary of the crew he is as usual strong but stupid and would sell off the crew for a dime. Inara ads some diversity to the group as a registered 'companion' ( as Mal says 'wh***'). She is in with this company to get the crew onto planets that would be normally closed to them. Oh yeah and they have one passanger who serves as sort of a concionce to the group: Sheperd Booke. Next is Kaylee the optimist of the group; she has a sixth sense when it comes to machines, and has a big crush on Simon. Speaking of Simon, he is the medic, at the top of his class. He and his sister River are wanted fugitives. River was truly a genios--that is until the Alliance kidnapped her and experemented with her brain. And her brother saved her therefore giving them thier fugitive status And making the life of the crew of Serenity that more intresting and difficult...

That pretty much sums up the characters. This is really a good show it is on on Fridays 7/6C only on SciFi

But to the friendly, awsome, and smart moderaters out there, they asked me to tell the story...

The Tale of WalMart

Thousands of years ago, an evil space entity emerged from the planet known as mars. It had fulfilled its duty of sucking out the planet's resources and selling them back to the inhabitats at everyday low prices. This would throw the entire economy into chaos, ultimatly destroying the planet. This space entity, known only as Wal of Mart, had traveled the universe for longer than anyone can date, coming from a small region known as Parts Unknown. The only thing known about it is that it has a grudge against all life and destroys it in the most inhumane way imaginable. After leaving the planet known as Mars, Wal of Mart set out to land on Earth, taking another hundred or so years to land there. In the year 4700 B.C., the evil space entity landed in Egypt, there, finding a demon known as Sa Mwa L To N. This demon made a pact with the entity agreeing to help it in its mission to destroy the planet. Millenia upon Millenia passed, The demon helped Wal of Mart grow steadily, giving anything and everythin it requested, until, one day in the early 20th century, the final preperations had been made for the evil space entity known as Wal of Mart. The last ingredient, however, called for a self-sacrafice. So, late one night on the equinox on friday the 13th, with a full moon in the sky, the evil demon (now called Sam Walton ), boiled himself alive under the first dwelling he built for Wal of Mart in the blood of 100 virgins. Since then, Wal of Mart has turned into a flourishing chain of stores ( Wal of Mart's offspring) that have been sucking up Earth's natural recourses, throwing our economy into chaos, and selling us products at everyday low prices...
