Who knows some good dragon books??

I would HIGHLY reccomend Eragon and Eldest. They are my favorite books. The Eragon movie comes out this Holiday (December 15, 2006), and if you havn't read the book, you should read it before then.

Also, The Dragons in our Midst series by Bryan Davis. They include:
Raising Dragons
The Candlestone
Circles of Seven
and Tears of a Dragon.

More books:

Dark Lord of Derkholm and it's sequal, Year of the Griffin by Diana Wynne Jones.
The Dragonriders of Pern series and Harper Hall trilogy by Anne McCaffrey.
Dragon Rider (excellent book) by Cornelia Funke.
Jeremy Thatcher Dragon Hatcher (don't remember the author)
Dragons: A Natural History (a book of legends) by Dr. Karl Shuker.
Dragonology and it's Handbook are missing QUITE alot information. I wouldn't reccomend it for series dragon research.

i have never read those book. are they good. cause i have been told that they aren't. and told that they are so i just haven't read them. but i think i might just have to see for my self

You have to like Magic, Dragons and other races to enjoy Eragon and Eldest.

see i like those things, but a lot of my friends don't like them. so mabey that is why they dissed them. and i am headed to town this weekend so i can probly buy them.

You should! I encourage EVERYONE that has not read Eragon or Eldest to read them! I got half my class interested in it...

i got to were they just met up with the other elves and the dwarves turned back to the beor mts. i think the chapter is wounds of the past. or something like that. nayways i stoped just as a new chapter was to start.

aiolos... i think Jeremy Thatcher Dragon Hatcher is by Bill something-or-another he writes alot of scifi horror stories

have u read all of the dragon in our midst series? im only on the candlestone(a little more than half way) u listed alot of books that i had already said(not that it matters im glad someone else likes the same books i do)u also listed some i have read but forgot to add......thanx
