1. vti close and reopen eyes: to close and reopen both eyes rapidly
2. vti look while blinking: to look at somebody or something while blinking
3. vt remove something by blinking: to open and shut the eyes rapidly to remove something from them

4. vi flash: to flash on and off, especially as a signal
5. vt transmit message by blinking light: to transmit a message by making a light flash on and off
