-I find it hilarious that we are viewing this whole thing from the P.O.V. of agressor dragons... while most 'animal intelligences' don't destroy the environment to heat their burritos...

By all accounts, dragons have been slain by some of our most primitive weapons before… assuming we’re to believe ancient tales.
I am rather certain that if they were to return, no matter how powerful they were, they still wouldn’t be able to compete with the fire power that humans have.
I still like to believe that they would have higher intelligence than many creatures do today, and if they did I believe they’d make themselves rather scarce rather than offer themselves up for scientific research.
I might be the only person here that wasn't really satisfied with the way dragons were depicted in Reign of Fire. ><

Well, I liked their portrayal of the male's attack pattern. The problem is that they just glazed over how dragons managed to survive being nuked.
The devil doesn't come dressed in a red cape and pointy horns. He comes as everything you've ever wished for.
