Are you TRYING to prove how indefinately thick your heads are!? I'm sick and tired of you tiny-minded imbeciles constantly breaking rules which were set in order to keep this board running smoothly. YOU PREVENT THAT FROM HAPPENING! If you feel that I'm being an ass ( pardon my french), you'd have to find a lot of people to support that mindset before I'd consider any of your theories. I don't normally get this angry, but enough is ENOUGH! If you feel so desperate to act like you are, pack up and leave. I ( and very likely several others) don't want people acting the way you shmucks are on this board. Start your own board, and ruin that. advertise it here, and you'll get booted.
A) what pandora said made sense to me....<scary>

B) this post is named 'blah' so how are we off topic I mean we are blabing...

Just pointing out....
Calm down Chalgrish, whats eating you? I am sorry this actually proved you wrong but you don't have to get to the badmouthing leave that to the ACTUAL moderators..... and besides isn't that against the rules..... even officers are not above the law....

A. Would you like me to recite a list of swears I know?
B. we have no actual moderators as of now.
C. Proved me wrong? about what? you must either be naive or completely ignorant. read the rules.

Once again, I completely agree with Chalgrish. Constant subject changes and random nonsense is getting very out of hand and is getting very very annoying. This was an introduction for Vampire Person and now it's about radioactivity. This is beyond pathetic and it boggles my mind how easily some people on this forum get sidetracked into another completely different subject.

If you want to flame someone for this post, flame vampire person for starting an intro thread in the wrong section. The thread was entitled 'Blah', how are we suppoesed to follow that title? We are not posting complete randomness. Well, not all of them, anyways. If you follow it up, there is a conversation, even though it did shift a few times, randomly.

A. it WAS in the correct forum. a return is posted in the general.
B. title doesn't matter. It's still breaking a rule.
C. vampire person started this thread in order to show that he returned to the board.
D. you're an idiot.

A. It technically isn't a return, 'Draconologist' was in the artistic section:
"Anybody remeber a retarded 12 year-old that wemt by Draconologist on the other site- Yea that used to be me but I'm different now- I'm a psycho 13 year old" Other site. OTHER.

B. Your posts are as off-topic as ours, so lead by example.

C. Vampire Person started this thread in order to show that he is new to the boards but used to be in the artistic section. For proof see 'A'.

D. No need to put me on such a pedastal, I do my best.

Oh come on. Let's not bicker and argue about who killed who. This is supposed to be a happy occasion...

Chalgrish was correct about the off topic posts. Notice I said was correct. In light of cerrent events, this thread is now a "random post" thread, almost like the thread named "Ignor This".

Now people, I may not like Chalgrish but I do respect him and his point of view. Tempest can and probably will resolve this problem when he gets the chance, until then this arguing must stop.

I don't particularly NOT like Chalgrish. It's just that, in my opinion, if the 'topic' of a thread drifts, then people should follow the flow of the conversation, especially if you couldn't tell what it's about from the title anyway. You should know that I really do intend no offense of any kind to Chalgrish, really, I just like to retort.

Well Chalgrish pointed out the main rules concerned here.

Now, someone left the board for a time and then post a message asking if anyone remember him/her (according to me, that certainly qualify as some form of "return") then the thread is blatantly hijacked. Not only this is a lack of respect to the person who started the topic, but it also make it impossible for him/her to reply to anything (regardless of the questionable contents of the original post). Try switching place for a moment, the thread puts the focus on the author and a few posts later it drifts into a thread about radioactivity... There is the realistic possibility that this kind of situation could make some people feels like *not* coming back.

Lastly, I specifically said that threads with the purpose to be random are allowed as long as they are properly titled and that the purpose of such thread is clear. In doubt it's preferable to assume that the thread has a legitimate purpose other than just saying the first thing that come to your mind.

So this Thread is called blah so

BLAH, BLAH, BLAH, BLAH, BLAH

That refers to the title therefor not off topic

I am deeply sorry for my fault <bows> I will try to read closer into the rules....

I welcome the vampire back to the forum and ask that he properly name the topic and/or put it in the introduction forum.

He didn't come BACK to the forums. He said he was new to the forums and that he had been to the 'other site', the artistic section. At any rate, if ever sees any of this, I again welcome you, Vampire Person, to these forums and back to the site overall.
