I'm the same as Firuweata. That's why it takes me so long to write stuff.

I can type fairly quickly, I just can't carry a thought longer than a few minutes...
Except when I draw. Then I can carry thoughts for a long time...

Oh, well I go through with thoughts and stuff, but I don't have the patience to write it all down at once. I'm also a fast typer.

This is very well done for the beginning. My sugestion would be double spacing between paragraphs to seperate them better, and double space for dialogue. Otherwise it's very good.
Even though Chal might tihnk it's lacking depth, it really doesn't matter, because many good writers spend months or years on their pieces, many starting out just like this or worse.
I write something first. Then I go back and edit it, then expand upon it. Then I do it again. And again. Until I think it's finished.
It's all a process.

The writing process
-Fishy
Tip: if you have the writer's mind the words flow from your mind to the paper you get your idea's purley from your imagination....
1. Start a DND game or other creative activity.
2. Read every book you can find on the subject you want to write about.
3. Mush it all togeather in your own unique way using every ounce of creativity you can muster.
4. contunue writing untill you feel you have done your story justice.
5. Edit the
out of it!!!

My insparation comes from dreams and reflection upon myself. Sometimes at home I sit in my room with the lights off and just think. If something good pops up I go and jot it down before it's gone. Then I turn it into something I can read and enjoy writing.

I had a moment like that, and it was funny, because I had already gone to bed (my parents are sticklers for 'bed time' and it freakin bugs me). I ended up writing an entire life story for a character by the light of a book light, on the paper I had my Lost World cheats on.

I write about true events that most don't know about...
For instance, did you know that the Titanic never hit an iceberg. Its maiden voyage was a complete success...
This was because the Titanic was a luxury submarine, not a luxury cruiser as most thought...
However, when the Titanic was still docked, the British Intelligence was developing a machine that alters peoples memories...
However, an accident occured, and many people thought it was a luxury cruiser, and not a submarine...
The only ones unaffected were those inside the sub, because the walls were so thick. And I'm sad to say, that once people had already boarded, and the vessel was launched, it was only a matter of time before they tried to submerge the Titanic...
As the submarine descended into the cold, unforgiving Atlantic, those onboard saw the "iceberg" they hit...
This was actually just a cloud of steam released by the subs engines...
So, next time you're at McDonalds, and the cashier announces "The first one to tell me the TRUTH behind the Titanic gets a free order of fries", you'll be ready, and will soon be eating the fries of victory...

I might have to write about all of the places I have seen while traveling through time...
And Dan Brown did his homework also, what with the Da Vinci Code and all...

What's da Vinci's real last name? I don't seem to remember....

I know he had one, but it isn't important...
Back in the day, they didn't use last names, they used the city they were born in...

I thought that was his last name. You know: Leonardo da Vinci.
Sounds like a whole name to me.
