I don't know so much about the dragonlance series, because I've only read one of the books, but the Death Gate Cylcle has got the coolest creatures in it. Especially when it starts talking about those in the Labyrinth, the, er...yeah, basically that's what it is, is the Labrinth, a prison pretty much.
I'll leave the rest as a suprise.

It's an excellent series. It has the blue green dragons of Pryan, the Blood Dragons of the Labrinth...very cool. Plus bunches of other creatures.

Occasionally. Maybe. Rarely ever.
I'd suggest Borders and Barnes and Nobles. I think Copperfields is a local store, so I don't know if you've got one near you or what. Those are good stores to get books at.
Speaking of which, I've got a trip to Borders coming up on the seventh.

If you were to juggle a lion, and a house cat, the end result would look something like a tattered chunk of red fabric. The cat would scratch anything within reach, and the lion would just eat you. The lesson to learn? Make sure you eat your spinach.

Just be honest with them. Say "Hey Mom, Dad, I saw this really cool dragon book on the web, can we get it?"
Show them what it is, tell them about, give them a basic overview of it's content. Come on, kiddies, parental manipulation is a skilled art.

runnerbeasts are a genetically altered horse. if u read the first book in the series (dragonsdawn) then u will see that the first colonists brought horses and mules and stuff with them but had to alter them to fit Pern's ecosystem and stuffJishdefish wrote:Jishdefish wrote:Wait this confuses me.... Ah, well I read the first book but I thought that they may have made a different species of dragon for the job.....
A) one man was suprized that the blood was red...
B) The runnerbeasts got the disease that the dragons didn't
These two points contredict each other so I was confused..... Although now it makes perfect sense..... Lack of Education!!!
