Jade, already strapped into his suit, nudged Michael, grinning.
"Whassmatta? Afraid that when we meet some lovely female Sorcerer, she won't give you a second look? ...Besides, if you squint just the right way, it's more of an olive green anyway..."
"By the by, Jeeves. We aren't dealing with anything that has to be staked through the heart, beheaded with a gravedigger's shovel, shot with silver bullets/arrows/quarrels, have to be stabbed through the eye with a giant wooden stick and snuck past by hiding under sheep, or anything distinctly mythological so at the same time terrifying, are we?"

"Funny," Michael replied, pulling on the leg part.
Jeeves shook his head. "Master Jade, this is not a horror novel. You shouldn't encounter anything of the kind."

"Oh. Good. I was worried, y'know, cause I'd forgotten my holy water and such back home, and I doubted these toothpicks would be enough to stab either a cyclops or stake a vampire."
He shook out one of the wooden slivers, and offered one to Jeeves. The flat look on the butler's face caused a pause. Then-
"Uhm...mint flavored? Yum yum?"

"No thank you, sir," the butler replied stiffly.
Outside through the window, the group could hear a car approaching the grounds. "Ah," Jeeves said, "There would be your transportation to the airfield."

wolf jabbed at the armor he'd grudgingly picked out, a look of disgust plastered on his face. really it was only there to hide how uneasy he felt. apparently they were expect to be able to fight but all he'd done were the few bar brawls that ended in everyone getting a black eye or two. but he didn't want to appear anything but confidant in himself and in control
losing control scared him
"whatever... i just hope that if you end up selling this video to jack ass three, we get a cut in the money..."

"And if not you'll represent us and sue 'em, right?" Ivan snickered, pulling on his helmet, the last of the armor. "Eh, kind of heavy..." He started to wobble down the hallway after the others, and slowly the suit started to adjust to him in weight and consistency.

biting back the scathing remark, wolf contented himself with just shooting ivan a glare. and a bit of a shove to see if he could off balance the man

OCC:
This is what the armor looks like, minus the dorky Cylon helmet. This is what the helmet looks like.IC: Strapping on the rest of his armor, Michael could feel it adjusting to his size. Carrying the helmet and weapon, he followed along with the others outside..
OCC: We're gonna wait just a day or so before takeoff to give dragonmaster and Ersska time to reply.

Ivan's hand shot out, putting a bit of a dent in the wall as he caught himself. He glanced back at the broken drywall, and then at the wolf. "So, would you call that your fault or mine? I suppose you'd just deny shoving me and chalk it up to my clumsiness." He cracked a smile and took off down the hallway after the others, his balance better adjusted.

Having already put on his armor Alondor walked down with the others and waited for the others to say something that he actually could comment on.

Jade chuckled, and nodded at Ivan encouragingly.
"As they say, one witness could be a liar, two could be a conspiracy, three is a defense, and four are reason to plead insanity. So I guess at the moment we have a conspiracy...What say you, Mr. Barrister?" Jade turned and cocked an eyebrow at Wolf.

"i say at the moment we have a circus."
wolf was getting more uneasy about this whole thing and as usual when he felt like he didn't have control he got more aggressive. he was trying to get a handle on it but the jokes the others were making were pushing his very thing patience and short fuse. his hand gripped the bolas and he ground his teeth, trying to do that stupid counting excersize his shrink told him to use.

OOC: Sorry for my absence. I'm still trying to get my internet hooked up. Other bills are eating up my money at the moment. Welcome to the real world. . .
IC: Tobi accepted the rapier with a slight bow. How did he know what she had been trained with? The rapier felt like an extension of her body. Tobi twirled it expertly a few times as the others comtinued to talked.
When Jeeves produced the armored, Tobi wordlessly strapped in. Unlike the others, she had no trouble balancing in the suit. She made quick work of walking down the hall and reached the car before any of the others. As she passed the others, Tobi mumbled, "I feel like Robocop."

"I hated that movie," Michael grumbled, climbing in the vehicle along with the others. The ride to the airfield was rather long, the air filled with a tense stillness.
