I would say yes, a number of other animals show family building. Birds normally mate for life and will raise their young, elephants stay in groups, and whales stay in family pods.

I agree as well.

(sorry I haven't been on for a while, we had three snow days in a row, and when we came back we got swamped with work, it's been keeping me busy.)

Wow this will be hard to say but disagree.

Dragons were already short supply for food the largest family i can see as possible is mom and young. And that is just until the young grows up

ok now I got to disagree with you on this one.

Dragon famillys would include mother father young cusins so on. maybe not in one biulding but still family.

EX: mother and father dragons has young dragons and those young dragons leave. douse that mean those young dragons are no longer part of that dragon family? NO, they are still part of that family! I think that is what the question means.
Dragon familys possable? Yes!
Will every member of that dragon family be inside one small cave? possably not!

I love how each of you gives an answer with full confidence... The answer is, "We have no friggin' clue". There simply isn't enough data to draw a meaningful conclusion.

they are not answers they are hypothosis. And of course we give confidence so does any other scientist that comes up with an idea.
