the bloop

In my quest for odd things I came across a passage about the bloop. It was a sound captured in 1997 in the pacific ocean. It's pitch is extraordinarily loud. It was picked up o underwater audio equipment over 5000 km away. Scientist's say that the sound is likely to be of a living organism, however not even a massive blue whale could make such a sound. What ever made it would have to be unfathomably large. The source of the sound was never determined. It might not sound "dragon like" but what exactly does a dragon sound like, none would truly know. Upon listing to it Images of the legendary leviathan came to mind. Take a listen for you self, the actual "bloop" occurs later in the video.

hmmm.... Interesting and your reasons are accurate how ever for some reason -not to sound like a R :swear: d but on most of it sounded like either music or submarine sonar. (got to listen closely and you might be able to hear a rhythm to the sounds) but then again…. a

HOWEVER on 1:03-1:05 , 1:53- 1: 54 sounds exactly like a growl which Improves the Idea of this “bloop” being a underwater Dragon called the leviathan. For some Reason Just listening to those two parts instantly put the exact same thought in my head.

yes that is the radar, good observation, however I told you the actual sound was later in the video. The growl was the "bloop"

kk just making sure lol.

Then I will reject your reality and will substitute my own lol. SATIN HAS BEEN BORN FROM THE DEAPTHS OF THE OCEAN AND WILL NOW TRY TO KILL EVERY ONE ON EARTH O_O (sarcasm)

No seriously I agree with you that there is a good possibility that it might be an underwater Dragon called the leviathan

sweet, it's amazing what you can find when you just surf the Internet. This happened in 1994 for crying out loud, I had never even heard of it until recently.

still... it happened some time ago and no one even notices it or seemed to care even though it brings mystery, Thought, and endless possibility's when you actually DO notice it. THIS IS THE TYPE OF STUFF THAT SHOULD BE ON THE NEWS!

it it were to be a leviathan, the legendary beast must be as big as the stories imply. It's unbelievable.

that is why I keep telling every too always expect the unexpected. But this is indeed the most unbelievable thing I heard of. It might be the first question here that actually might make me think for hours to days on end.

shouldn't be hard for you drakel, lol. The ocean is indeed vast, giving some thing like this plenty of space to hide in. Not to mention something that large doesn't get that way by being noticed. If it what we think it is, it's also very good at avoiding attention.

True however the possibilities are still endless on what it truly could be. That is the thing I'll be thinking about for some time. I have to go through every single possibility on what it could truly be before I call myself done with it. However I do agree that the possibility that it is an underwater Dragon called the leviathan is the most high compared to them all.

a fair observation, yes we must eliminate all other possibilities.

I already eliminated 4 of them.

1) Underwater mine- it would have more of a kaboom sound than a growl.
2) whale- their whale songs don't travel that far so it's a near impossibility.
3) Another submarine - -_- it’s just impossible
4) a ship sailing right over them - it couldn't have happen for the distance it is said to have come from was far.

it was too big to be a whale.
