Not really new...

You won't remember me. Name change, see? I used to browse this forum back in the 'golden days'. Left for...God, it's been years. Came back, account didn't work, so made a new one. Back now, but I've changed so much I think it warrants a fresh start, and hence, a fresh name.
Hi.
Ummm...Where did everybody go? I remember this place being quite the hub of activity back in the day. Oh well, time comes and sweeps all man's marvels into the dust of the never, so perhaps forums follow suit. A bit sad to see it so slow, but understandable.
Let's see. Hobbies. Well, all the generic hobbies of internet entities (that is, debate, philosophy, art, and writing), as well as reading, geocaching, and exploring in general.
So how are all you? I will remember many of the older members, and I see a fair number of you still hang around this place, but good ol' Chalgrish...Whatever happened to that cat? Seems everyone here has that question on their lips.
Oh well, I digress.
Hello.

Thank you...
...Hmmm, now let me see if I can remember all the old ones that were here when I was around...
There was Talus, Chalgrish, Dragonobsesie, Jishdafish, vampirehunter (or slayer), silver orbs, wut2say...There were others, but wow, I am surely surprised I remembered as many as I did...
Actually, the only reason I found this place is because whilst browsing a forum for video game help (minecraft, yeah...), I came across a poster with a name similar to wut2say's, and in a rush of nostalgia, I searched for, located, and joined this forum.
I don't know how many of the older members are left, for it does seem to be much slower now than when I first encountered it.
But what the hell, if it's sinking, then I'm glad to be sinking with it. A testament to me time once spent here (for it was quite a lot), and the time yet to be spent.

Jishdafish, vampirehunter (or slayer), silver orbs, and wut2say have posted within the last year some several times, Of those you named I've seen but yeah days have been a tad slow here

Well that's good to know. I remember Jishdafish's location was on a sunken nuclear submarine, back in the day...Don't know if that's still where he lives, or not.

I do remember a dragonmaster, though I can't be sure numbers were involved...
Oh, and you don't know my old name, because I did not give it. ^^

As I'm unsure to welcome you back or welcome you as a new person, I've decided to do both.
Welcome (back) to the message board. Have a doughnut. *offers Sholl a doughnut* Hope you enjoy your stay with us.
Also eating a balanced breakfast is a good way to start your day.
You shouldn't remember me as I'm relatively new and don't post much.

Ah, but Sholl also wanted a fresh start.
Though you did remind me:

Thanks!
And yeah, fresh start. The person who once browsed this forum has changed so much as to be wholly unrecognizable (in my opinion, anyway)...
But yes, thanks for the warm welcome!

Hmm. . .I do wish you indulge us and tell us your orignal name. That would make this whole remembering thing a tad easier.
And welcome back.

Ah, but who I once was is not who I am, and I prefer the image of who I was not to muddy the image of who I am. I posted all throughout this site back in the late 2005-2006 era...The throngs of Dranix's golden age. I definitely was not a contributor to this golden era, but I did have the pleasure of interacting with the people who made it golden.
You don't need to remember me. I think it best I forge a new image.

I was around during that time as well. Do you remember?
And as for the name: if you didn't want to indulge it, why did you bother to bring it up? We've all changed, for better or worse. Even I am not the same person I was back then. It's human nature to change. So, why be so afraid to reveal your old name? I, personally, think you like the mystery and the attention you're getting from it.

I do remember you!
Yes, it's human nature to change, and no one is different, etc., etc.
I prefer not to indulge that information. I will say that I was a very active member for about a year, and suddenly stopped. I only mentioned it because I thought that it might be good to let people know that one of the Old Members (tm) returned, and it might save some time and effort for some if I already mentioned that I knew the rules and ropes of the place.
As for attention...Meh, no real point in it. If you want to give me attention, that is your choice, but what would be the point? In my opinion, reputation on a forum is gained through the quality of one's posts, and with that being said, looking back on old posts, I prefer to start fresh, with a new reputation.
But yes, I do remember you, and your picture of a tree-snake.
*edit* Also, I'm not a very mysterious guy (Heck, in the RP I already gave my height as 6'6", and mentioned a past eye injury), though I might RP as one for fun.

Apparently, you're not too old of a member. The tree snake picture is fairly new. I've had it for two, three years at the most maybe. I don't even remember my original avatar.

I swear I remember seeing that back in the 2005-2006 era. Maybe not.
Oh well. Checking back, those were the years of my era, so maybe I'm just imprinting memories on the site.

I was here at the end of the 'Golden Age' though a wholly different Avatar and indeed persona was my burden then. And I prefer to think of this as the Dragnixian Renaissance, as opposed to the dark ages many seem to have labelled our current era with. Destruction is needed for the phoenix to rise anew, and maybe one day the Elders shall return and grace us with their presence heralding the end of days...
Anyways, welcome to the board.

How many of the elders are here, and how many need to return before the site is once again golden? Who're we missing?

Well, what's your definition of an elder?
I may, if I'm bored, attempt to discover your original name here. You may have been on when I first joined.

Threadomancy much? I thought we actually had someone new, but no...
