It's good to see this place is still alive, even if it is barely so. Still, I'm back and hopefully we can get this place more lively again.

i would try it but 1.) I blow at gaming, B.) Dad says no games, they run the bill up, and finally, my computers too slow. If i could i would but sorry.

Fret not. What we've done in the past RP wise was mostly on the internet or skype. So over all it will not raise your costs. So if you can go into a chatroom/chatbox you should fine.

I also should mention that there are other ways to RP. Here is a list of what I know.

Tabletop- Those DnD games that you see where people roll dice and such. Capable on being done through the internet.
Forum/Written: Play by Post, Basically you write an entire post for the RP and then someone else Posts and so on.
Chatbox: Much more faster then the Forum/Written though instead of posting you're just RPing in a chat room.
LARP- Live Action RolePlay... need I say anything else?

We actually have an RP section here in Dragnix. If you wish you could join up in Alondor's RP. I'm sure nobody will mind helping you get some footing on Role Playing.

you can RP in the forum using normal posting like this. it doesn't have to be in "games" specified for roleplaying. it's just that everything's written out instead of watching it on a screen and pressing buttons for controls.

I would advice to always look at the date that the thread started rather than its position in the list. The second thread in the OCC subforum was necroed by a newbie and started 5 years ago. If the age is less than ~2 moths it should be ok to post.

Actually considering the inactivity of the boards you could revive almost any thread. However if the thread in question is more than 6 months old I would advise just making a new thread.
