here are some other great ones:
Dragonriders of Pern(Anne McCaffery)
Dragonspell(Donita K. Paul)
Dragonsblood(Anne McCaffery)
Dragon on a Pedestal(Peirs Anthony)(Middle of a series, I suggest starting from the beginning with A Spell for Chamelion. Not as many dragonms though)

they have a tremendous amount. My favorite is either Crewel Lye or Cube Route

Eragon by christopher paolini
and the seqaul eldest
its a realy good book the seqaul just came out in august 2005 and thier making the movie already
it spost to be a trilogy and the thrid is still being retin
