Why the hell do people sign up and never post. Its clogging up the board! I say we delete the user after 3 months of less than 5 posts!!! because theyre completely clogging up the board.
please take this into consideration and post your view on this.

After a year passes by their accounts are considered unactive. Seeing how using their membership is according to their own will, not much else can be done about it. If I were to disappear for three months because of some accident or something and I came back to find out I disappeared I would be pissed.

I am not saying that is the case, but do not exclude that frame of mind.

And Jake... Though Hell at times is not considered a cuss word, avoid using it in that context. Guidelines... lol

When you say 'delete the user after 3 months of less than 5 posts', how does that relate to someone who simly isn't there right now? I sometimes stop going to places on the net for a while, but I usually come back. What if I left for three months and then came back and didn't exist anymore? Or do you mean people who join and still have less than five total posts after three months? Because that makes sense.

ok after about 6 months with 5 posts or less.

But still, do you mean 5 or less overall posts, or just 5 within those six months? Like I said, I'm prone to vanishing...

It still doesnt sound fair no matter how you slice it. How would you like it if you were gone for any number of months and came bac to find you had been deleteted?

It doesn't clog up the board. I had something similar to this when I was under 200 posts, but now I realize that they just have problems getting to dragnix.

Yeah I mean sometimes they would think that the home page is 'www.dragnix.net' when it really isn't. I had that problem when I first came here!

It really doesn't cause any problem right now, So I doubt that Tempest would need to do anything about it.

I have Dragonix on my url listings on my lappy, but anywhere else I have to pick someones name from the board and google it to get it to come up.

Otherwise, I don't show.

They must have their reasons, after all they did register then did bother to check their emails and click on the registration link. And forcing people to posts is a way to invite threads necromancering and pointless posts like "me too", "I agree" and "…" kind of posts just to make sure their account isn't deleted.

Aside this, there must be another reason than just aesthetic to put this quota on the user and it would be a rule that would be difficult to justify. Imagine if someone, for valid reason, spends a years away for the board to realize later that not only his/her account was deleted but someone has registered his/her username and is now using it. I think that person would have a valid reason to be angry. Granted, this kind of situation would happen very rarely but I don’t want people to worry about their accounts.

hi. I play WWII a lot at school but recently they blocked it. However! I found a way around that:)

. if you go to any of the following proxies you can get to WWII(or other sites) even if its blocked!

www.safeforwork.net www.vtunnel.com www.atunnel.com www.btunnel.com www.ctunnel.com www.dtunnel.com www.vpntunnel.net www.backfox.com.

This also works for other sites like myspace.Give it a try.
That was an email I got from someone in a browser bame that I play, and it just runs whatever URL you put in through they're site. It gives you the same exact site, but it avoids blocks, like the ones at a school. I tried it at my school, and the ones I tried worked wonderfully.

Tempest is always right, and i dont think we need moderators because this forum is under complete control! (maybe it would be nice if i could mod the test forum)

Tempest is not always right, he merely makes sure that what he says is accurate.

@Jish.

I would google my own username, but I also frequent so many other sites and I think everything gets confused...

*hmmm*

Nope, I just tried it. The url for the old site is there (it doesn't work, but it's there) but no dragonix forums.

I wonder why that is?

EZBoard is no more, because of someone who wasn't even part of the site.

What is EZboard?

EZBoard was the old site, but a hacker crashed it at about April-May of last year, giving rise to this site.
