Issue of the Week: Quotes

Post by Jishdefish »

This thread is for posting your own favorite quotes(whether by you or someone else), and disproving others while supporting yours.

Note: this topic is meant for GRADUAL dilution of the topic. In other words random comments are frowned upon.

I will start off:

Anything is possible.... If not in this life than in the next.
-ME!!!
Anything is Possible...
And Yet, Nothing is Probable.

-Never jump to a conclusion, for if you do it could mean your life.
**Its best to get all of the evidence before making your judgment or drawing your conclusion.

-Expect the unexpected.
**During the course of your life anything could happen. Be prepared for the worst and yet be prepared for the best.

-If the only tool you have is a hammer then all you see is nails.
**Don't be stubborn... basically
Legends never die.

"How can you pick up the threads of an old life? How do you go on, when in your heart you begin to understand; there is no going back. There are some things time cannot mend, some hurts that go too deep, that have taken hold"~ Frodo, RotK

"I believe a man only needs one thing in life; he just needs someone to love. If you can't give him that, then give him something to hope for. And if you can't give him that....just give him something to do." ~Liddle 'Flight of the Phoenix'

"There's no such thing as a 'good person'" ~ me

The first two aren't very 'meaningful', but I still love them.

Nah it's cool I just couldn't recall his name.

"Do you think that spider knows it is at a different flower?"
"I don't know." Replied Milamber.
The man in brown smiled. "That is perhaps the wisest of all answers."

You need to click the 'profile' button at the top next to the Dragnix igsignia and click Yes Next to 'BBC code'. Then click submit.

I had the same problem and that fixed it. Also note clicking the quote button next to the actual words doesn't work you have to add
to it after

A good death is better than bad role-playing. -unknown
(A note to play out a death rather than role-play out of character.)
