I like the concept of the last one. Fast scetches are often thebest
Mayby he could use a more agressive head.

No he doesn't. Mori's not an agrresive dragon. He's a big baby

The division of artistic ability is as follows( I believe):
Natural talent: 5%
Materials: 45%
Proper ideas (inspiration):20%
Practice: 30%

Uh...u know, I hearby am giving up drawing, and going back to code...better at it anyway.

You've probably got the natural talent part right, Chalgrish. The only person in my family (that I know of) that can draw decently is my uncle, who's only related to me by marriage.
45% materials? Um....lined paper, a pencil and Gimp aren't exaclty the greatest materials out there....

I don't like it. Sorry, Aiolos, but I don't like the redo. You look more like a horse rather than a dragon. Also, it looks as if you were inspired by Digimon and Pokemon. (more specifically, Flamedramon and Charmander) While I like the new contrast of colors, I still prefer the old you. The simple elegance of the dull gray and the playful burst of brown from your wings and tail is what I like. The colors suggested modesty and humbleness. This new design practically screams, "LOOK AT ME!". I don't like it.

Ok, I respect you opinion. ^^ But the design is done. There will probably by little tweeks, but the main layout is that. BUT, here's a few things:
And don't think I'm yelling at you for saying this:
1. I've never watched digimom in my life. I think it's a pathetic ripoff of an already pathetic show called pokemon.
2. A flame on the tail doesn't mean I'm copying another design.
3. It's not in my usual style. It was my first time drawing the redo, so, of course, it's going to look strange. (the horse-likeness was coming from the head, right? That head just come out funky).
4. You think this character attracts attention? You should check out some of the other characters on the site.
5. I'm probably going to remove the squiggly line from her neck. It's weird.
AND 6. Aiolos can still switch back to her old form. It's not like she's stuck in her fireform forever.
Once again, I was not yelling at you.

(I'm not yelling at you.)
I never said that you watch either one of those shows. The pic just reminds me of them.
I never said you were copying. I said you were inspired by. That's two totally different things to me.
The horse-likeness comes from the body. The way you did the mid-section and the legs.
Yes, I'm fully aware that there are flashier things out "there".
And yes, I know she can swap forms. I just think that she should stick to her old form.

The only thing that changed on her was patterns and the fire.

Wait...Chalgrish, are those statistics accurate, or are they just made up???
Because I once heard somewhere that 78% of all statistics are made up on the spot. DON'T QUESTION IT!!!
Also, very good pictures. I know this is a frequently asked question, but after the scanning process, what do you do to get the picture onto the website???
I've been on this site for a while, and I draw all the time, but I've never put them together...

Ersska - please keep the harsh critique down. saying 'i don't like' it is quite a big blot on what an artist thinks of themselves.
Firuweata - you draw? aww come on put sone of those pictures up
Aiolos - well i like both designs if it means anything to you ^^

Firuweata- do you mean on DeviantArt? Or here? On DA, you hit the 'submit' button and follow the steps. Here, once your pictures or hosted somewhere, you just stick in the link.

+ Silver - Orbs +:
I know that my critiques may seem harsh to some people, different people have different views of things. It's common knowledge that there's always going to be at least one person who does not like a particular thing. I think that if you don't like it, the you should go ahead and say it. Don't beat around the bush or try to make the person feel better. That technique doesn't always work. I, personally, (if i ever put up a piece of mine) would love it if people were honest, maybe even brutally honest with me. I think that it's a good way to keep the artist humble and sometimes happy. For if everyone says that the artist is good or great, the artist may get a big ego. Or they may just get mad because they know that everyone is lying. So, why not just go aahead and state the truth. Besides, I believe that Aiolos once said that she had "nerves of steel". So, she should be able to take it.

I actually didn't mind it at all. And I DO get annoyed if every response I get is 'I love it, it's great'.
