Gale of the night

This a total metiphoric like thing you know saying something and meaning something else. Well, anyways I'll undestand if you don't get it.



She waits in silance

for the morning to come

shrowded in the dark veil of the night

that trails into the endless black above

broken only by the few stars who dare

challange it, busting holes of bright white

through the darkness, sending rays of hope

for she who seeks the light

I like it. It can have many meanings. It realtes to more then one person thats generally a sign of a good poem.

It has quite a few meanings actuly. One would be a woman waiting for her lover to return to her,another would be someone who is trying to pupose or meaning. And another would be some who is waited for hard times to pass, and the list just goes on.

When I wrote this poem I wasn't going for just one them. I wanted the reader to find their own personal meaning to it. I know what it means to me,I wrote it. Its more of what it means to other people.
