Was thinking... What really would get me to stay on this board would be to open a thread of my own.

I take great pride in my threads however and only let a select few in. Keep this in mind

For those who were in the last board, you would know of legions or Blood Arch. These were pretty big hits on the old one, and had almost twenty something pages each. I think BLood arch was bording thirty. What made it so exciting was the unique story, but a majority of it all was found in the fun we all had.

Thats the Key to a RP...

Its more then telling a story or acting out a character

Its how a character develops a personality all on its own... And its how the other characters around him/her interact with the story and the other players! Its having FUN Telling a story is only half of it if that much.

I think a lot of people have forgotten that...

I'm here to redeem that and start a thread where we can just have fun and tie into a good story... That requires cooperation and no godmoding etc etc, but in the long run we can give this place an RP to add to its history... I've done it before like several before me.... we can do it again.

to me, it sounds like you're going to start up a 'market place' where it starts off as just a place for people's characters to unwind and then someone shows up who gets everyone else on some fun adventure. *shrugs* i don't know how those usually work on this forum but that's how its worked on others i've been at.
I'm in for it, though, 'cause i'm sure that's not what you had in mind. *waves it away* don't mind me, i'm just rambling.

I have to say that I really think that's a great idea on Ex's part^__^ (and I'm NOT just saying that cause he's my b/f! For those of you who know who this may be, let it rest that I'm back but that, my friends, is for another time and another place^^)

I remember the old threads, and the type he's talking about were the kind I tried to create myself on the old board. And no, Makla, they weren't like a marketplace thing, as far as I remember. It was more a thing of "Ok, we have a storyline, let's have fun with it^^"

We need to bring that back to the board.

Sorry everbody about 'A time of darkness' I was having a spot of trouble with the guesswork about the Earth in 20 or so years. Anyways I've found it's better to make your own world, that way there are no researching problems. I hope this RP won't overshadow Arden....
