Each dragon is just as unique as each human, meaning that no two dragons have the same weakness.

kojack s correct but if there were a slightly generic weakness i would say the wings or they eyes. However i'm no expert on dragons so dont lean heavy on my guess.

if you going by Species:
Chromatics:
Red Dragon: Breathes fire, weakness to ice, and cold.
Blue Dragon: Breaths lightning, weak against fire.
Black Dragon: Breathes acid, weak against fire.
Green Dragon: Weak against fire.
White Dragon: Evenely matched with the red dragon, weak against fire, but cna cancle out the red's firey breath.
Metallics:
Gold: Breathes fire, and a sleeping gas, weakness cold.
Silver: Breathes a icy wind attack that can freeze things, and a paralysis gas, weakness to fire.
Bronze: Breathes fire, weakness to cold.
Brass: Breathes lightning has weaker resistance to all other elements.
Copper: Breathes fire, weakness to cold.
In between Mettallics and Chromatics are the gem dragons which I will not list.

The weak spot on a dragon is the wings or the chest, as they are unprotected by the scales. This is possibly why they wear metals and jewels on their chest. The ideal armour for the wings has only just been made in the last century, in plastic and aluminum. They are also vunerable when they open their mouths to breath fire as they expose the throat.

And who and where did they make plastic dragon wing armor? Methinks your just making all this junk up, with a splash of dragonology mixed in.

I mean it has only been in the last century that we could make the armour.

i really think that they dragonology book is wrong about a dragons weakness, i think that their chest is strong and the jewels are just to keep them warm. i prett y sure that their only weakness are their throat and wings, unless you ahve a big powerfull gun.

I've heard it's behind their left ear.

I don't know. Maybe the skin behind the left ear is slightly softer.

...or it could be because of some type of dragon mutation over the years to allow some sort of special "power" needed to have the left ear softer or something. it's something to think about i guess.

Aren't all animals almost completely symetrcial? So why would their left ear be weaker than their right?

Because the first dragon fell asleep with his head on his hand like so... and ever since dragons have had vulnerable left ears.
