Wut2Say and I (and i'm sure quite a few others) are beginning to grow very tired of people (new people in particular) of making pointless posts claiming that they have seen dragons.
We would like to point out that you don't need to make these posts just to fit in.All you need to do is make a post introducing yourself and we're sure you'll be welcomed warmly

Most newcomers try to fit it because they're afraid of being ignored (hey if im wrong, throw me a bone here).

true, but blackhawk and i feel that if we tell newcomers that they dont need tot say this type of stuff to fit in, then maybe we'll see something cool inside them that is real that they share with us. instead of trying to make someting up. it never works in schools so it wouldnt work for long hear either.

You are beating a dead horse here. I have been trying to stop post like that from the time I started posting in the last forum as JoJotheapeboy (I was the 4th person to join). The best way to deal with them is not to post quick anti post at them. But try to get them into the other threads. It does work.

we just decided that we would try it this way and maybe stop a few when they are guest just checking this place out.

i dont believe that this will entirely work, i think it will hopefully work enough to at least cut it down. it will never really stop.

Message to all thos who have signed up:
I, Falconer, am a young author, and are preparing to release a novel centered around dragons in 2007ish. Please keep an eye out and buy one if you can.
P.S. This is not a joke, prank, or flat out attempt for status. I merely am leting everyone know.
P.P.S. For your benefit, Blackhawk, I have never seen a dragon and probably never will. If a dragon ever saw me, he'd probably freak out.

You, my friend, must think that the world lives to assist you. Wrong in every way, shape and form. If it's not one thing, it's another. Publishers are stingy, you have too high an opinion of yourself if you think you can write the book, get it editted (at 1 cent a word), revise it, submit it to various publishers, be denied often, and give up your dreams of being a successful writer.

It's possible Chalgrish, and I wish you the best of luck in get your book out, Falconer. And are you going by that name on your book? It would be kind of hard to find a copy without a name O: But I don't care if you want to keep it secret ^^

And Chalgrish, if publishing is so hard, how do so many books get out? I'm improving my odds by getting an agent. (Me, but don't tell the publishers. I'll use my fake name.)

My advice?

1. Get a proper agent. You may have to use a few bits o'money to do so
2. Get a few friends or even an old teacher to read it throught
3. Check, check and check again
4. Do a few surveys - is this what people *really* would want to read?
5. Redo step 3
6/ *Then* go to a publishers...but don't get your hopes up

All this advice is amusing, but if someone could give me a number? I don't want to sound pathetic, but I don't even have a contact.

And there is a way not to get caught, silv. Message comunications from the author, and telephone com. from the agent. It'll work.

The way I was able to fit in, in the first place, was my RPing skills, That's basically all I do. As you all notice I rarely post in any other forums.
